About Us
kindakismet is a new production company based in Queens, NY. Founded by queer actors and producers Will Tway and Julie Sandler, kindakismet’s mission is to bring humor to the New York theatre scene while uplifting traditionally marginalized and underrepresented artists. kindakismet is particularly focused on creating space for underproduced contemporary works while uplifting charitable causes.
Will and Julie both have a vested interest in storytelling, community building, and a deep appreciation for the power of humor. They came together as friends and storytellers to find joy in creating an artistic community. The team believes that creating space for comedic relief, while simultaneously using art to process the world around us is essential, transformative and revolutionary.
